flo User Manager 3 Manage network accounts with ease

Flo User Manager 3 allows you to manage the user and group accounts on your network with increased efficiency, allowing you to perform common tasks with the minimum of fuss.

It is specifically designed to work with Active Directory but also includes all the functionality of version 2 as well as various new features (such as access to StopIt 3 quotas).

A free evaluation version is now available for download.

We are currently preparing a 64 bit version of this product.  All purchases after 1st January 2009 will qualify for a free upgrade.

	Creates and configures new accounts with only a handful of mouse clicks. This includes creating the home folder, sharing it, setting the permissions and copying any standard files you want there.
	New accounts can be created in bulk from a file. Existing accounts can also be deleted in a similar way.
	When user accounts are deleted, files in the home folder can be archived automatically.
	Allows you to scan home folders for files containing material which you judge to be unwanted, for example executable files, those with "illegal" file extensions (eg. GIF, JPG) and file names and contents which contain words of a questionable nature!
	Allows you to send messages to selected users, members of groups or everyone.
	Links with StopIt 3 or StopIt 2 and NetSpace if these are available.
	Creates and configures Microsoft Exchange¹ mailboxes for individual user accounts.²
	Multiple user template accounts.
	Allows you to copy files to the home folders of selected user accounts.
	Check integrity of user accounts. (Do they have an accessible home folder? Are the accounts enabled?)
	Passwords for user accounts can be stored and subsequently read by Flo User Manager.

	Active Directory (Windows 2000, 2003 or 2008 Server) or Windows NT Server based domains.
	Windows 2000, XP, Vista, or 7 clients.
	Home folders using DFS are not currently supported.

A free evaluation copy is available for download. It is a full version, except that many of its tools can only be carried out on an account named FLOTEST1.  This product an evaluation version of Sysmess - this can only receive messages sent to the FLOTEST1 account.

If you wish to use Flo User Manager 3 to access StopIt 3 quotas, it requires Microsoft DAO 3.5 to work.  This must be installed on each server and workstation on which Flo User Manager 3 is installed.  If you do not have it installed on these, you can download it here.  This link includes the standard Microsoft DAO setup program and a DAO MSI package for Microsoft Active Directory networks.

Flo User Manager 3 uses the FarPoint Spread control to display various tables of information.  This is installed as part of the Setup process, but can be distributed using an MSI package on Microsoft Active Directory networks if required.
